Multiple Sclerosis Parkinsonism Deutschen Muscular Dystrophy Treatment

Multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that causes demyelination  or disruption of the myelin that insulates and protects nerve cells of spinal nerve and brain cells.

It’s considered to be an autoimmune disease although the exact cause is unknown. Women suffer about two to three times than men. It can affect between 15-60 years of age;

Symptoms and signs of multiple sclerosis depend on area of the nerves or brain demyelinated and may include: visual changes including double vision or loss of vision; numbness; Tingling or weakness.  Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Therapy in Nashik has been getting satisfactory results in treatment of Multiple Scleroses.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society  reports  –

“Acupuncture may provide relief for some MS-related symptoms, including pain, spasticitynumbness and tinglingbladder problems, and depression.”

Parkinsonism

Parkinsonism is any condition that show abnormalities seen in Parkinson’s disease — like tremor, slow movement, impaired speech or muscle stiffness. Causes of such symptoms can be drugs, toxins, metabolic disorders, neurological disorders,  trauma to head,

Parkinson disease (PD) is one of the most common neurologic disorders, affecting approximately 1% of individuals older than 60 years and causing progressive disability that can be slowed, but not halted, by treatment.

Acupuncture relieves Parkinson’s disease symptoms. Researchers document the ability of acupuncture to reduce pain, anxiety, depression, hot flashes and abnormal sweating in a clinical case history. The patient responded with significant positive patient outcomes after a 2 week regime of acupuncture treatments given at a rate of five days per week. Acupuncture successfully reduces pain, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and mental illness in Parkinson’s disease patients.

Treatment of Parkinsonism by Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Therapy Nashik has been quite successful in reliving substantial disability to due symptoms.

US National Library of Medicine reports

“Conclusions:

We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the use of acupuncture for relief of PD symptoms and found that acupuncture has significant positive effects. Acupuncture can be considered as a combination treatment with conventional treatment for patients with PD. Further studies on this topic should be carried out according to rigorous methodological designs in both the East and the West.”

Deutschen Muscular Dystrophy

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. DMD is caused by an absence of dystrophin, a protein that helps keep muscle cells intact. Symptom onset is in early childhood, usually between ages 3 and 5. The disease primarily affects boys, but in rare cases it can affect girls.

Symptoms

Muscle weakness can begin as early as age 3, first affecting the muscles of the hips, pelvic area, thighs and shoulders, and later the skeletal (voluntary) muscles in the arms, legs and trunk. The calves often are enlarged. By the early teens, the heart and respiratory muscles also are affected.

Late Walker: Children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) are often late walkers.

Normal Sensation: Because muscular dystrophy doesn’t affect nerves directly, touch and other senses are normal,

Cardiamyopathy: Lack of dystrophin can weaken the muscle layer in the heart (myocardium), resulting in a condition calledcardiomyopathy.

Respiration: Beginning at about 10 years of age, the diaphragm and other muscles that operate the lungs may weaken, making the lungs less effective at moving air in and out.

Learning ability: About a third of boys with DMD have some degree of learning disability, although few have serious mental retardation.

Acupuncture improves patient outcomes for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Pain Therapy in Nashik  delivers significant results including reduced physical impairments and improvements in both walking and staircase climbing. In addition, significant reductions in inflammatory related muscle enzyme secretions are achieved.
