“This is a strange finding on the use of HT7 and I have no idea how or why it works for breast pain. Maybe it works via the mechanism of heterotopic noxious conditioning stimulation, which is probably not point-specific.”
Breast milk deficiency
Though we put baby to breast immediately after delivery, mothers get sufficient breast milk after 24-48 hours. Baby does not need any other feeding than breast milk. Sometimes mother may not get sufficient breast milk.
After birth if baby is craggy, irritable, maybe it is not getting sufficient breast milk. We at Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Pain Therapy test for adequacy of breast milk offering bottle milk immediately after full breast feeding. If baby refuses bottle milk, it has had sufficient breast milk. If it is accepting further feeding, naturally breast milk was not sufficient and need treatment.
Causes of deficiency of breast milk may be
Maternal exhaustion, anemia, insufficient rest, retracted nipple, medications etc. Treatment is to tackle the cause.
We have been treating breast milk deficiency routinely by Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Pain therapy in Nashik in our maternity home. Results are generally instant and consistent. No drugs were needed in most of our treatments.
Chest Pain Treatment
Chest is formed by rib cage with its inter-costal muscles attached to sternum in front, spine behind and diaphragm at base. It holds important organs like lungs, heart, major blood vessels along with other organs.
There are many causes of pain in chest besides heart, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, and digestive system. Not all pain that is felt in chest is associated with the heart, but heart has to be kept in mind as first possibility. Presentation of pain may be different according to cause. Pain is perceived differently by different people for same condition.
Chest wall pain like rib fracture, musculoskeletal, Herpes Zoster, Costocondritis, cervial radiculopathy, thoracotomy (Heart Surgery) scar, Posterior Chest Wall Pain, Anterior chest wall pain syndrome can cause chest pain. Diseases of gastrointestinal, and pulmonary system can also cause chest pain. Not all pain that is felt in chest is associated with the heart, but heart has to be kept in mind as first and most important possibility. Presentation of pain may be different according to cause. Pain is perceived differently by different people for same condition. Pain of chest wall due to musculoskeletal causes are amenable to treatment in Nashik by Dr Pardeshi Acupuncture Pain Therapy.
It must be stressed clearly that acupuncture has no role in pain due to cardiac origin. Cardiac pathology causes feelings of sudden pressure in the chest or a crushing pain in the back, neck and arms. In case of myocardial infarction the person feels discomfort in the chest along with heavy pressure on chest. Patients may feel sweating, shortness of breath, light-headedness, and irregular heartbeat can also be experienced. In such attack maximum damage to heart in first 6 hours therefore immediate medical treatment is most essential. In elderly, diabetic or such patients may present with chest typical pain, therefore it is essential to keep diagnosis in mind while managing such patients.
